1970s Ventura BARNEY KESSEL V-114 electric guitar vintage JAPAN MIJ Matsumoku

Circa 1970s Ventura V-114 Barney Kessel style hollow body guitar - MATSUMOKU BUILT - in a really attractive cherry sunburst finish, all original, no case.  We all know it now - these vintage Japanese guitars are killer.  That's all.  The build quality on this thing is frighteningly good.  Currently has flatwound strings on it.  Knobs may not be original, but everything else is - and these are the coolest tuners ever.  There is some wear on the gold plated parts, scratches to the pick guard, but otherwise this Kessel is CLEAN - really really nice condition.  Little bit of finish damage along the binding on the backside.  Slender and fast neck, very easy to play.  It's a vintage guitar, there is some pot scratchiness and the 3 way switch is a bit dirty, but we'll have our tech go through it prior to shipping.  This is a WONDERFUL vintage Japanese guitar - the build should make gbson shudder a bit.  Smokey, Jazzey tone!  Call 859-261-5500 for an in hand description.  Thanks.<p>
