Peavey T-60

If you're looking at this Peavey T-60, you clearly know your stuff and realize the history of these guitars; and the fact that they are built like Sherman tanks.

Up on the auction block is a very sweet hot-rod red Peavey T-60. It is all original except that I had the phase pot/switch upgraded/changed. I can’t really hear a big difference when it’s in this position anyway. Remember, this switch is “NOT” a phase shifter type effect, but rather an in and out of phase concept made when Peavey built one of the best guitars every made. If you are unfamiliar with the T-60, these are touted as one of the best built USA guitars every till this day. I urge you to do some research. This color is getting very rare and hard to find. 

The body looks good, however there are dings, scraps, chips, and scuffs but otherwise looks really cool. This is a players guitar, and not a showpiece. If you seek a pristine guitar, that is blemish free, look elsewhere; this is not it. The hardware looks good, however there is some slight oxidation. This is one of the smoothest, yet hottest tonal guitars I have ever played in my 45 years. This baby crunches hard when overdriven. Lush and fat! The clean tone is rich and very Nashville like. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a warmer guitar tone then this particular one. The neck is straight as an arrow and this guitar stays in tune extremely well and is set up with low action. I am not sure of the exact year, but I would say 1982. (serial# 01467955) Great news is, it has the better bar-pickups that every Peavey lover seeks. No case included.
