How it Works

HOLES ALREADY PUNCHED

To Suit Fender 3 single coil pickup, Standard Stratocaster setup. With 11 hole standard strat screw hole config. Can easily customise to suit the Vintage Strat 8 screw hole pattern or the 62 Strat screw hole pattern. Please advise of any custom requirements.

Most guitars with single-coil pickups suffer to some degree from hum. Almost all are much noisier than they need to be. Upgraded Shielding can greatly help minimise electrical hum interference. caused by EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) Mains Cycle Hum from building wiring and electrical flourescent lighting etc. etc. A complete Copper Shield Plate can help make the difference from guitar manufacturers mediocre shielding efforts.

Pickguard Shields are 6 Mil (.006 inches thick) copper. Aprox. 8 times thicker than household aluminium foil.

Easy to install, fits snug under the pickguard for a good solid shield against unwanted noise.
