1972 Vintage Cibson C-Les-paul Custom 1954 Reissue w/ OHSC, Feather Weight

Item Description: This is one of the very first 1954 reissues made as the guitar's pots show the early weeks of 1972.. The guitar weighs 9 lbs 6 oz - impossible to find weight as the majority from the era are peaking well above 10 lbs! The guitar has been played and it will show all the honest player's wear such as buckle rash on the back, dings and dents and scratches. The guitar is all original less the tuners (Grovers are currently in it, no holes have been widened/drilled so the correct waffle tuners will drop right in should you decide to put them back on) and the ABR bridge (I have Callahan in it currently). The original parts are not included with the sale!

The guitar's finish has been blacklighted and there's no evidence of finish tampering anywhere except for recent and small small area touch up where the poles the hold the ABR bridge are. Those were very loose when I got the guitar and they couldn't keep the ABR poles in place so I had them filled in and touched up for you. It's nearly impossible to tell unless you have a blacklight in hand OR if you literally have your face in the guitar. The best of the best locally did the work and it's top notch! As you may know, that requires the removal of the pickups so that would explain the touched solder joints! They were virgin at the time when I purchased the instrument (look at the photos below)! 

Everything else is 100%. No finish touch ups (except for what is mentioned), no breaks, no repairs. The neck is ultra straight and the frets are low but not completely flat on the board. You can play the instrument as it is as it's not in desperate need of a re fret but if you have a strong grip then you'd be looking to re fret it in the near future! One of the frets is slightly tilted but there's no damage to the ebony board, nor it complicates the playing in any way! The pickups are the original ones to the instrument and they have never been rewound - the sound is just like that vintage C-Les-paul tone! The original case is worn but solid and is included with the sale. Thanks
