What makes this guitar special: Only manufactured from 1983-1985, these S-270 Runaways are few and far between. This Guild is a great player, and affords easy access to the upper register while supplying a beefy tone courtesy of the stock EMG humbucker. Finished in a unique purpleburst and sporting a blade-style headstock with a locking tremolo bridge, one look will take you back to the 80’s. Comes professionally setup by one of our techs, so you can be sure it’s ready to play out of the box!

Cosmetic condition: Very good condition for a 30 year old guitar. Various surface and playwear scratches throughout the body of the guitar, as well as some minor finish chips, dents, and scuffs. There is a small chunk of wood missing from the tip of the headstock, and the fretboard shows a couple small dents as well. Fretboard wear is consistent with age. 

Body: Double-cutaway contoured mahogany body in flashy purpleburst finish with Kahler locking tremolo bridge.

Weight: 7lb, 12oz.

Neck: Slim profile maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, white side dots, and pearl dot inlays. Frets and fretboard show wear consistent with age, but still have a great deal of life left in them. 1 5/8” nut width, 25 1/2” scale length. Blade-style headstock with locking nut, and black Grover tuners.

Electronics: Single EMG humbucker (8.16K ohms) in the bridge position, with knurled black volume control knob.
