1996 Fender Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang Electric Guitar in good condition with some light playwear and a few dings on the front, back and edges.  There is a larger chip on the inside of the bottom cutaway that has been colored in. Beautiful Fiesta Red finish with a white pearloid pick guard and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the 24" scale narrow maple neck with a rosewood fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in good condition with some light grooving under the plain strings but mostly under the "G" string. 

The neck single coil has a great vintage tone with good output and the bridge humbucker has a great rock tone with a strong output. Each pickup has a three position switch that gives you on/off/out-of-phase choices.

Overall the guitar has a very cool vibe to it (maybe it's because of the "Designed by Kurt Cobain" decal on the back of the headstock right above the Fender 50th Anniversary decal) and it plays and sounds great.

Includes a Fender gig bag. The tremolo arm is missing and is not included. Made in Japan

A very popular model that pays tribute to Kurt Cobain's legacy, the Jag-Stang has been reissued only 2 years after it was discontinued. It features a 24"-scale maple neck with rosewood fretboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, basswood body, vintage machine heads, chrome hardware, and a Fender Dynamic Vibrato floating tailpiece. Advanced electronics include a single-coil at the neck with a humbucker at the bridge. Both pickups have a 3-position switch.
