2001 Jose Ramirez R1 Classical Guitar in very good condition with little to no playwear but there is a crack in the finish of the top extending from the bridge by the "A" string, extending to the bottom of the guitar. The crack does not affect the tone in any way or add any buzzing. Classic natural finish on the red cedar top and mahogany back and sides. The guitar has a good action and the "D" profile neck with an ebony fretboard has a comfortable feel. This is a beautiful instrument with gorgeous select woods and great resonance. The lows are round and warm with an open midrange and a strong high midrange with crisp treble. The fit and finish is exquisite.

Includes hard shell case.

The Ramirez R1 Classical is part of the entry level R line with solid African mahogany sides and back, solid Canadian red cedar top, ebony fingerboard, Fustero tuners, and lacquer finish. The sound has a sweet, endearing quality. Includes hardshell HumiCase with a built in humidifier.

Without the cypress lined back and sides, these guitars are an adaptation of the traditional Ramirez designs. They are known to be lightweight and quick to respond.
