What makes this guitar special:  Responsive to the touch with a rich & complex voice, the H-14 is the proverbial 'OM' guitar. With a scale length 1/4” longer than the H-12, and its slightly foreshortened body & higher bridge placement, the H-14 Grand Concert guitar is favored by players of ragtime, country blues & flat-picking.  Small enough to be really comfortable, but with volume & tone that will surprise & delight you, the H-14 is an excellent choice for finger-style guitarists.  But even if you prefer strumming, this guitar definitely delivers the goods & its smaller stature belies its massive sound - warm, rich tones with a perfect balance between the lows & highs - and it's loud!  Big sound projection that can easily be heard in a combo with dreadnoughts.  To purchase this guitar brand new today would cost between $9000 to $10,000, but we are offering this excellent condition Deluxe at a fabulous affordable price.  Don't miss out on a great opportunity to own this wonderful Grand Concert model from Froggy Bottom.

Cosmetic Condition:  Excellent condition - very clean overall with some light surface scratches.  After the guitar was photographed it was placed back in its case for protection & is not on display in our showroom.

Neck:  Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots.  African ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays.  Frets are in great shape with very little wear.  Neck joins the body at the 14th fret.  Madagascar rosewood headstock overlay with 3-ply binding.  Abalone frog headstock inlay & shell inlay in the neck heel.  Waverly tuners with butterbean buttons in perfect working condition.  1 3/4" bone nut; 25 1/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & plays perfectly up & down the fretboard.  

Body:  Grand Concert size body.  Solid Adirondak spruce top with Flame Maple binding & 7-ply purfling.  African ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays.  Bone saddle with 2 1/4" string spacing.  Small tortoise pickguard with abalone & multi-ring rosette.  Solid Cocobolo back & sides with flame maple binding & abalone center strip.  The back of the guitar is absolutely stunning, with lots of character & variegation in the wood.  15 1/4" lower bout width; 11" upper bout; 4 1/4" depth.  There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 11.7 oz.
