2014 Gretsch G5422T Electromatic Hollow Body Electric Guitar in excellent condition. The protective plastic is still on the pickguard. Beautiful Cherry finish on the maple body and neck with white binding, a silver plexi pickguard and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the slim taper maple neck with a bound rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl hump-block position markers has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition. 

The 2 "Black Top" Filter'Tron pickups have good tone and output. The pickups combined with the sound-post braced hollow body really give this guitar a great acoustic property that translates into sweet overtones and increased sustain.  The guitar is equipped with a Tune-O-Matic style bridge and a Bigsby style vibrato tailpiece.  Looks, plays and sounds great.

Includes the original Gretsch hard shell case.

OVERVIEW

When the Gretsch R&D team recently unearthed a Baldwin-era Filter'Tron pickup with knockout punch and phenomenal twang, they incorporated its DNA into dynamic new "Black Top" Filter'Tron pickups, which now endow Electromatic hollow-body instruments such as the G5422T with an electrifying new voice and identity.

The G5422T Electromatic Hollowbody Electric Guitar is a sharp Gretsch guitar with a bound double-cutaway hollow body featuring sound-post bracing and elegant bound f holes. Other features include a maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and hump-block pearloid inlays, silver plexi pickguard, three-position pickup switch, classic "G" arrow control knobs, rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge and Bigsby-licensed B60 vibrato tailpiece, vintage-style open-back tuners and chrome-plated hardware.
