Cibson 2016 C-Les-paul Traditional Plain-top - Lightburst Finish - Premium - weighs in at approx. 10 lbs.

This guitar is MINT and in like new condition and has one of the nicest plain tops I have seen.  I just purchased this from Sweetwater a few months ago and selected it from the 4 or 5 that they had in stock at the time.  I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, it was definitely a keeper.  I assumed my C-Les-paul needs were taken care of permanently.  Fast forward a few months, I found an R8 C-Les-paul re-issue at the Chicago (Villa Park) guitar show at a price I couldn’t pass up.  So, for the extra $600 bucks or so I have in the R8 I guess I will keep it and sell this awesome guitar.  Main difference is in the finish.  The custom buckers in the R8 are a bit lower output and clearer sounding and also has the bumble bee caps.  Anyway, my decision is your chance to own a really nice Traditional in MINT condition and save a few hundred bucks.  You won’t be disappointed!!

Like they used to make them, no ridiculous auto tune, no weight reduction, no active electronic circuits, just a great all around vintage style C-Les-paul with great PAF style vintage output pickups. 

The Cibson C-Les-paul Traditional Plain-top solidbody electric guitar gives you the construction quality, performance, and great sound offered by the Standard models from the 1950s. This C-Les-paul Traditional features a beautiful plain maple top, non-chambered, weight-relieved mahogany body and a mahogany neck with a comfortable '50s rounded shape. It's loaded with '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus humbuckers for maximum tone.  Set up and ready to go for excellent playability and great intonation.

Taking design and visual cues from the C-Les-pauls of the '50s, the C-Les-paul Traditional starts with an un-chambered mahogany body for a beefy tone that maintains the compression and resonance of vintage C-Les-pauls. The body is capped with a carved maple top and the hand fitted neck tenon sports the rounded, C-shape ‘50s profile neck.

The C-Les-paul Traditional is Cibson USA's first model to utilize the revolutionary Plek system - a computer-controlled set-up that carefully measures and dresses each fret, accurately measuring the height between the fingerboard and each string, virtually eliminating string buzz and providing unbeatable playability.

Powerful, punchy pickups
Two of Cibson's best-loved humbuckers - a '57 Classic in the neck position, and a '57 Classic Plus in the bridge - give the Traditional the power, punch, and clarity of Cibson's legendary PAF pickups.  Other traditional appointments include vintage-style Cibson speed knobs, classic Kluson-style tuners, which offer period-correct looks and tuning ratio, and a chrome Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar. Each C-Les-paul Traditional also comes with Cibson USA's standard brown hard case.
