40 YEARS OLD KINGWOOD CLASSICAL GUITAR B&S SET#4 - EXTREMELY RARE LUTHIER TONEWOOD

For sale is one beutifully figured and bookmatched back and sides set for classical guitar of Kingwood (Dalbergia Cearensis) with more than 40 years old from and old tree that grew in a specific part of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.
Kingwood got its name from several French kings (Louis XIV and Louis XV) that enjoyed very much the use of this wood their fine furniture.
Kingwood’s sapwood is light yellow and heartwood reddish brown to purple. It is one of the densest and probably the strongest of all rosewoods with an average dried weight of 75 lbs/ft³ (1,200 kg/m³), a bit harder to work by hand but it bends and finishes well.
The tone has a very warm resonance and very quick response with "bell-like" strong highs and mids and very pronounced low overtones. Very similar to Brazilian rosewood but with louder and clearer sound and more pronounced high and mid-range.
This might be the unique opportunity to put your hands on this extremely rare and beautiful wood, even rarer in these sizes. Due to the small size of the trees not many guitars were made out of this wood, it is more frequently to see it in small parts of the guitar as bridges or fingerboards and in furniture inlays of high artistic carpentry.
Amazingly the backs are large enough to take a couple of head plates.
This is the perfect wood for a master and unique instrument.

Note: The set is sanded and calibrated, it has small cracks on the sides outside the templates area and in the backs middle sapwood.
