The Cibson C-Les-paul Standard PlusTop Pro sets a new standard for guitars in its price range. Two Cibson ProBucker humbucking pickups with coil-splitting deliver big slabs of the fat, warm tones, transcontinental sustain, and deep, soulful distortion that made this guitar famous. Crafted with a solid mahogany body and flamed maple carved top, a set mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, cream body and fingerboard binding, and chrome hardware. The Tune-o-matic bridge and LockTone stopbar tailpiece add seemingly unending sustain and make string changes easier. Case sold separately.

Because I use light tension strings, I have to buy them more often for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard PlusTop Pro Electric Guitar. These strings are not great, but they are very good, and much less expensive than super high quality strings. Most of the time I buy a single wound third, because it gives a richness of tone the plastics don't achieve. your guitar is well made to begin with it is possible to get great natural sounds and a pleasing playability with these beautifully made strings. Mostly hard tension strings are championed 'cause they are loud and vibrant but I like the subtle depth and resonance of these puppies. |

These strings have a smooth silky feel and a rich warm tone. the comfort of these strings has me drifting more and more in that direction. I also must note, I had a small technical problem that was resolved by D'Addario with swiftness and care - they have earned a long time customer |
