Part of their Contemporary Series, the BG-1500E shares the classic Jumbo body size and Art Deco-styling of Saga Music's flagship model, the BG-2500, but is more affordable because they used less ornate woods and inlays. It also boasts sophisticated Fishman Presys+ electronics with a 3-band EQ, phase and notch filters, a brilliance knob, and a tuner. The BG-1500E's 17” wide body is constructed of choice maple and the top is close-grain spruce. Its slim, fast maple neck has an adjustable truss rod to ensure perfect alignment at all times. The fingerboard and elegant, Art Deco-styled bridge are crafted from genuine rosewood. Adding to its attractive aesthetics is a strip of wood marquetry divides the back and the distinctive imitation-tortoise pickguard is bound with black and white ABS. The entire guitar is finished in a classic sunburst high-gloss finish and offers a big, robust tone that will please the most fastidious artist.
