For guitarists who must have original-era Jazzmaster sound, look and feel, the Classic Series '60s Jazzmaster Lacquer epitomizes the instrument during the 1960s, when guitarists from coast to coast used it to ride waves of reverb-drenched surf and instrumental music. With authentic features including a nitrocellulose lacquer finish in classic Surf Green and dual American Vintage Jazzmaster pickups, everything about it takes you back to a wildly creative time when rock music came into its own, from surf to psychedelic and more.
Includes gig bag.

It sounds super. It seems to stay in tune ok, I have had it for about 2 weeks. I am a short guy (5' 5") and I like the smaller neck. I had to set the intonation for all the strings, they were all sharp. The E and A saddles are all way out, they just barely made it. If I was a better player or really concerned about them being a little sharp down the neck, it might send it back. Probably just luck of the draw. I am very happy with it though and plan on using it for a long time. |

greatly impressed on how this guitar works! Kurt cobain used to play this during live gigs and it really proved to be a classic! despite ending in the trash after Kurt's massive tantrums. |

easy to tune and play. the fretboard is perfectly crafted to prevent unwanted mis-riffs. nice. |

This guitar is beautiful and plays like a dream. I love the action on the neck. Sliding up and down the neck is a breeze, and bar chords feel very natural on this marvelous machine. The finish is far more alluring in person than pictures can capture. It's as nice to look at as it is to play. I find myself staring at it a lot. The first time you plug it in, you will notice something a bit troubling. The pickups are a screaming shade of shining BRIGHT, but rest assured they can be tamed. With a change to pure nickel strings and a dial back of the tone knob, some very warm and cozy tones can be accomplished. I went with the DR Pure Blues 10's, but I'm sure any pure nickel string of your choosing will do the trick. These bright pickup characteristics are pretty common with the lower end JM's, but this guitar sounds great nonetheless. I could not be more pleased with my purchase, and the sales team at Guitars china were exceedingly helpful. If you're looking for a tremendous guitar with playability, great tone, and an attractive price tag, look no further. |
