·        Bourns PDB241 Series 500K Vintage-Style Potentiometers.  Long-Split Shaft – Audio Taper.  Design specifically for use in guitars.  Brass bushing with metal shaft.  Long Life Carbon Element. Each pot comes with nut and dress washer.

·        K40Y-9 .022uf PIO Vintage Russian Capacitors for Great Tone

·        Switchcraft 3-Way Short Straight Toggle Switch and Output Jack - Pre-wired with 22ga Braided 50's Vintage wire

·        3" shrink tubing (to insulate jack lead in cavity)

·        Cloth black push back wire for grounding pots.

·        Assembly Template.  Note these templates do not get installed in your guitar.  Only used to assure correct measurement when building, shipping protection and makes your part of the project work easier!

I personally prefer Bourns Potentiometers over all other brands including CTS.  I have found them to to be smoother and longer lasting.

Harness comes with clear instructions and an easy to read wiring diagram

**If you are not sure whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft pots please check before ordering.  Normally Pre-1977 Cibson C-Les-paul's, Cibson's, SG's, Hamer's and PRS's use short shafts.  This kit uses Long Shaft and as a general rule will fit most USA made Cibson C-Les-paul's manufactured after 1977.  If you have questions feel free to email me.

 

Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.)  you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the CTS bushings.  Knobs may also need to be modified so please measure before you order.  Email me with questions.

If you need new knobs we offer Bell Tone Knobs that fit this unit.

 

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pickups and the output jack.  A 25 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended.  Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation.  I can not be responsible if you damage a unit. 

 

Each harness is assembled after purchase so my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 3 to 8 business days.  Please do not order if you are expecting next day delivery.  I will send you an email once your unit is shipped.
