 This is a near mint condition, rare SOLID WOODS guitar by Alvarez, with its equally mint Alvarez TKL heavy, plush lined luxury case.  It has been mostly confined to the case, so there is virtually not a mark--no scratches,  no cracks, no fret or fretboard wear, etc. etc. Under close inspection, there are two very small minor pocks in the top, in the bass side of the upper bout, small enough not to photograph or break the finish.  Otherwise the guitar would be 100% "showroom".   Smells like new, and from a no-smoke, no pets household.  The construction quality is superb, including vertical side bracing unique to solid side design acoustics, making both inside and out beautiful.  Stamped inside "Hand Built", and bearing the Anniversary label. (Sorry, label photo is highly reflective, but the label is clearly marked "Model 6010".   It is high time to pass it on, and it needs to go to a new home for use as a "Go-to Player."  I will include with the sale, a copy of an email I received from St. Louis Music (importer of the Alvarez line) several years ago after I ordered the pickguard shown--they were not stock on the new guitars--, stating (paraphrased) that "you have there quite an instrument, made by our best luthiers from select solid mahogany back and sides, and tip-top appointments, including a complex violin finish-- a model that was top of line, which sold originally for $700. "  At normal financial conversion, that is about $1300 in today's money.  It is a very superb sounding and playing dreadnought, with super straight and fast neck, a setup that brings the string height to just over 1/16" clearance (measured) at 12th fret with no buzzing anywhere, which is amazing, and very similar to an electric guitar's specs.  Neck is smooth as silk, and fast!  The guitar is in beautiful overall condition --with EXTREMELY accurate pitch (intonation) .   Bridge and neck connections are original and mint, including perfect finish at all joints. Chrome enclosed tuners are 19:1 and very smooth operating in both directions, and hold tune for weeks!  With a full price bid ONLY, will be strung with new Elixir Nano-coated phosphor bronze lights before shipping.  A truly great guitar,  which is priced well below the market for luthier-built or competitive production guitars of ALL solid tonewoods.  This dreadnought equals or exceeds a few guitars I have played it against for comparison:  Larivee's solid mahogany dread; a Taylor 310; and a Guild D-40, although that one had some repairs and neck issues.  It completely blew away a "pre-CBS (?)" Tacoma DM-9 by acclamation at a little gathering a while ago. This 6010 benefits greatly from the custom violin finish--a gorgeous glowing light gloss--, which avoids normal vibration-suppressing sprayed coating of the wood, as with most other production guitars.
