Product Description:

Perhaps Alvarez's soon-to-be answer to Django Reinhardt, this one-of-a-kind gypsy jazz acoustic model came to the refurbisher here in Nashville without much of an explanation, other than being designated as a "DJ100" model and labeled as a prototype. There's not even a soundhole label or any sort of logo or emblem indicating that it's an Alvarez guitar (though it came in on an Alvarez shipment in a factory triangle box).
What we do know, however, is this guitar exemplifies the classic "jangle" of a gypsy jazz guitar, and features a solid spruce top, a laminated mahogany back and sides with rosewood binding, a slotted headstock with vintage-style tuners and a zero fret nut. This is a truly unique piece, so grab this one while you still can!
What was refurbished on this guitar:When this guitar came in from the factory, the authorized refurbisher couldn't find anything wrong with it. No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. It looks and plays like new.
