The Gretsch G9126 Ukulele provides players with authentic uke tone in an easily affordable package. Its solid quartersawn mahogany top and laminated mahogany back and sides do a great job at providing a balanced overall sound with a slightly more pronounced midrange. An open-pore semi-gloss finish ensures that the mahogany is safe, while also keeping its top-notch resonant qualities intact. A 1-piece mahogany neck in a medium “C” profile and 19-fret rosewood fingerboard give the neck exceptional feel and sturdiness. Additionally, the G9126 features an acrylic abalone rosette and abalone “snowflake” position inlays to add a little bit of flash to its woody aesthetic. Best of all, this ukulele can be played just like a guitar and is tuned from A to A, making it great for players transitioning to the instrument for the first time.
