The Fat J is one hell of a Jazz bass with 60s or 70s jazz pup spacing, 20/21/22 fret options and gorgeous woods. These are up there with the best in the world!

Generally Fat J models like this, will have 1 pc neck construction with exotic wood tops and matching or natural headstock.

The circuitry is custom shop made by Harry's engineering , and is one of the best sounding preamp and pick up combination we've heard.

Harry's Engineering, the company behind this brand, was founded around 25 years ago by Tatsuaki Totani San (AKA Harry), who had previously worked building guitars for Aria Pro-II back in the 80'sThe company is very small (5-10 people) and outputs only a couple of hundred guitars/basses every year.
Harry had a vision to build beautiful handcrafted "tools for professional players" with a focus on high quality, versatility, play-ability, comfort and tone. Ships with original high grade gig bag, to most destinations worldwide. South America and Africa incur higher fees / or may require shipping with the neck off. Please be sure to inquire first!

Regular shipping: 5 days $130 to most destinations.

SAL (surface to air) Shipping: up to 3 weeks. $90 to most destinations. (May require neck to be taken off)
