Emerald Guitars X20 Baritone Opus

We found the Emeralds Guitars X20 model as a baritone has very powerful bass and still great balance across the other registers and we are delighted to be offering the X20 Baritone in our standard range.

A baritone is a guitar with a longer scale length so it can be tuned to a lower pitch. While no standard tuning has been established for baritone guitars, popular tunings for the instrument are: a perfect fifth (A D G C E A), an augmented fourth (Bb Eb Ab Db F Bb), a perfect fourth (B E A D F♯ B), or a major third lower (C F B♭ E♭ G C).

The X20 Baritone is a guitar designed with the player in mind and not tradition. It features an ergonomic forearm bevel and a beveled cutaway to give even greater access to the fretboard.  Our unique asymmetrical back contours make the X20 sit more comfortably and securely on your knee. 

The neck has a very comfortable shallow C profile with a 1 3/4″ nut and the heel is reduced in profile to give better access to the higher frets.

Tonally this guitar has a big voice, We developed a new laminate structure to give it a richer fuller sound and with the unique soundhole placement it gives a great projection to the player while still giving your audience the fullness of your performance.

The X20 Baritone Opus is available in black only and does not include a pick-up. A B-Band A3T pick-up and preamp with built-in tuner is available as an upgrade. It features Gotoh 381 tuners (15:1 ratio) and has a full gloss finish on the top and a satin ‘Crystal Ice’ finish on the back and sides of the instrument.

Emerald Guitars are produced in our factory set on the side of a Hill over looking the river Foyle in rural Donegal, Ireland. Its a magical and inspiring place to build guitars, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. We believe our location is expressed through the spirit of our instruments and the music they make.

How much is shipping to my country?

World-wide shipping is included in all quoted prices.

Will I have to pay import duties?

If you are located within the European Union you will not have to pay import duty as VAT is already included in the price.

If you are located in USA you will not have to pay import duty as Guitars are zero rated.
