This is Jon Fratellis Fender Telecaster Serial Number R072399 which he used throughout his career with The Fratellis that he very kindly donated to the Meningitis Trust for a charity event back in 2008. This Guitar was used to write record tour etc and became Jons Trademark guitar and is seen in TV Appearances/Music videos, Shows etc and is signed by all 3 members on the back and can be seen in the video for their International smash hit classic anthem Chelsea Dagger.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEXHeTcxQy4

(Too many for ebay to permit) also photos with the guitar tech/roadies, newspaper articles of the event and private studio photographs of the band recording their second album "Here We Stand" in Scotland from where the guitar was collected from for the charity event. It is now the 10th Anniversary of  "Chelsea Dagger" and their debut album "Costello Music". The band will be celebrating by embarking on a full tour throughout November/December and will be playing Costello Music in full (See Fratellis.com) So as you can imagine Magazines/Newspapers etc will be giving the band alot of coverage.

This Guitar has amazingly been in storage since it was won by a single raffle ticket and has spent the last 8 years in its original G&G hardcase in a cupboard. It has been remarkably preserved and what makes this more unusual is that it has been untouched and out of circulation while in its 8 year hibernation. This guitar and its case has toured the world with one of the most important acts of the early/mid 2000's. It is a true piece of Rock n' Roll history. ps Jon if your out there you can happily have it back ;)

Also a point of interest. Chelsea Dagger is the official goal song for the most successful NHL American hockey league the Chicago Blackhawks. Jon or his Guitar Tech added a pair of upgraded HotRails pickups,Deluxe Grover Tuners, an extra string tree and a early 1985 "Vintage A" fender bridge. The guitar was crafted in Japan the serial number dates it as made between 2004/5. The neck is completely straight and the action is superb.

You are very welcome to come view at my home in Birmingham but please NO TIMEWASTERS with this one. I am in no rush to sell it and I will happily hold on to it till their 25th Anniversary. This is a true investment piece and will only sky rocket in price over the coming years and is a bargain even at the £10,500 "Buy It Now" price. I will be using ebay over the next few weeks before talking with the more traditional Auctioneers such as Sothebys/Christies, Juliens etc and both the Scottish and London Hard Rock Café Memorabilia Museums. Also football organisations who also use the track, Chelsea Football Club and Celtic FC. The song has its own Wikipedia if you go to the section "Usage In Sports" you will see a full list of National and International clubs who use the track as a goal song.
