Beautiful Fast Playing Guitar, Great Sound, Top Level Craftsmanship.

Welcome to the Classical-Workshop in beautiful Arizona. Thank you for taking time to look at this new all-solid wood, handmade Concert Model 145F Flamenco guitar, serial number 48, from the Atelier Classique workshop, Correze, France.

The workshop makes excellent instruments and this guitar is no exception. It is absolutely beautiful, great to play, and has wonderful tone.

The Concert 145F model is a fast playing, full scale 650mm guitar, 52mm across the nut, 62mm at the 12th fret, a modern design, made with excellent craftsmanship.  It’s action measures 3.5 mm at the 12th fret (with room to lower should you wish to make the action faster.)

Built with a beautiful, tight grain solid German Spruce top, with solid Spanish Cypress back and sides.  Bone nut and bridge. The French Savarez strings and all-solid woods give the guitar a fast but full rich sound.

Built light with Spruce and Cypress to deliver a fast attack that punches through the sound of other instruments (very desirable for a Flamenco guitar.) Yet, with its 7 fan/brace soundboard, it has beautiful tone, both balanced and even with no muddiness, when you wish to play a classical piece.

With Rosewood frethead, bridge, and heel-piece, and of course a Golpeador (clear scratchplate to protect the top from fingernail marks.) High quality 16-1 gold-plated tuners that are accurate, fine tuning, and hold the tune.

A little about myself, I spend summers in France and starting in the spring I attend the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany (Europe's largest music trade-show,) to meet guitar makers and see their instruments. Then, I am fortunate enough to travel Europe going to music festivals and guitar workshops looking for guitars.

The tone from this excellent Flamenco guitar is bright and percussive, responsive when asked for. The basses are deep and throaty. With the proper technique, you will get plenty of the desired flamenco growl. The trebles are bright and clear. The response is fast yet the sound can be mellow and sweet, depending on how you play and the technique used.

The sound/tone comes from a balance of superb workmanship, its seven-fan soundboard, and the solid woods used. Excellent, tight grained Spruce to give a bright, immediate sound, and beautiful Cypress back and sides that give a fast percussive tone. A pleasure to play and to listen to.  It is designed as a first concert-level guitar, to be played onstage or in a studio, an excellent choice for the serious Flamenco player.

This is a new guitar, there are no marks on it, it is pristine, anything you see in the photos are light reflections. However under the Golpeador, the tap plate, it has some air bubbles under it.  It makes no difference to the guitar or its sound, and not easily seen, but it would be remiss of me not to mention it.  It is still a handsome, elegant guitar that sounds and plays great, it will make you proud.

Recommended retail price is $2,225.00 with its rigid foam, high-quality, lightweight Atelier Classique case.  However we do have this guitar on sale at $981, which is a fabulous price for a concert quality Flamenco guitar.
