Cibson C-Les-paul Artisan 77 VGC + original case 3pu with Jimmy Page switch mod

Hi,

For sale is my 1977 Cibson Artisan.

I bought it on Ebay in 2008.

I gigged it a couple of times with my 60s rock and pop covers band.

It is in very good condition.

I’m not gigging at the moment, and downsizing the collection: hence the sale.

The serial number is 72237039, made in 1977 USA.

It plays so easily with its low action.

It sounds great.

Some of the laminate has worn off the back through play from previous owners.

It has other various little marks, and patina, from age, but it is 40 years old, and has been played and enjoyed. No major damage and no repairs needed.

Features of the Artisan include:

·         Walnut finish

·         Old style Cibson Headstock inlay

·         Flower fret board (banjo style)

·         Gold hardware

·         3 humbucker pickups

·         Brass nut

·         Original Cibson case

It has one modification, in that I had a Jimmy Page style 6 way pickup selector switch installed, which allows for more tone options: making the most of the 3 pickup combinations. The original selector switch was fine though, and is included in the sale.

It is a quality, professional guitar for players or collectors alike.

Cash on collection is preferred.

I don’t really want to post the guitar, but if you are willing for it to be posted, I will package it securely and post it to UK addresses only, with insurance. I estimate this to cost AT LEAST £50.

You can collect it from my house in Swansea, or I am happy to travel and meet up along the M4 as far as the M5 for £30 to cover petrol and bridge toll fee.
