Overview

The 2016 Cibson C-Les-paul Standard T combines some of the vintage features of the original C-Les-pauls with modern design twists, and the result is a superbly balanced instrument that still delivers classic Rock'n'Roll tone.

AAA flamed maple Tea Burst finish, historic neck width and a Classic C-Les-paul heel for superb playability.

By using a mahogany body topped with AAA flamed maple, it sets the foundation for classic rock and blues tone, but with this 2016 model it employs modern weight-relief in the body for a supremely comfortable action. Combined with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, the natural tone is warm and rich, much like the older C-Les-pauls of the 50s and 60s. A Historic original 60s-esque neck profile and traditional 1-11/16" nut width makes it equally playable for smaller hands and chunky strummers alike. The Burstbucker Pro pickups take the classic PAF pickups with their smooth low to mid gain response and crank them up a notch - These are PAFs with attitude! By using a new Alnico 5 magnet over the traditional Alnico 2 you get more bite, more attack and more gain with less noise.

New in 2016 sees the re-introduction of the original locking Grover tuners, back to basics so you can tune reliably and comfortable in a matter of seconds. The traditional stoptail bridge ensures quick and painless string changes and vintage style, used since the dawn of the original C-Les-paul many decades ago.

The LP Standard Traditional comes in a brown hard shell case as standard.
