The Guild CV-2 has a solid red spruce top, solid flame maple back and sides with scalloped red spruce bracing. Made with the F-40 body style that has been in the Guild line since 1955, the CV2 incorporates new technologies like the patent pending Guild® Graphite Neck Block System for exceptional tone, playability, and longevity. Rich features include a bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, abalone dot inlays, and ivoroid body binding.

What was refurbished on this guitar:When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issues found by the authorized refurbisher were some minor finish cracks in the body binding. The cracks were expertly repaired by the refurbisher - completely sealed and re-finished (see photos). No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from the minor binding repairs, it looks and plays like new.
Includes Guild lightweight polyfoam case.
