Hand Carved Electric Guitar by Chris Walsh

Hi Folks...and may I introduce "L'il Wing".  This project is a sort of "culmination" for me.  I've gathered all the personal preferences I have about different styles of guitars...different woods...different sounds...playability...it all just came together and I really enjoyed crafting these pieces of work for the discriminating musician.  The guitar is simple, yet elegant, not overstated in any way, allowing for the natural enhancement of the woods without throwing all sorts of color at it...just a touch of amber to mellow out the beautiful South American Ribbon Mahogany.  As I was hand-carving the "wings" or the "horns" of the upper bout, the "L'il Wing" just jumped at me...it was nothing planned...it just happened.  I'm truly inspired by wonderful elements of crafting these pieces of work.
