I've had this guitar for 8 months now, and I still have no problems with it at all. This is a Warlock; this thing is built for metal, and it has not disappointed me at all. I've had this in standard tuning, and I've had it in Drop A tuning, and it still sounds amazing! Even just looking at it, this is an extraordinary piece of work! Once you plug it in, it lives up to the expectations. The cutout at the bottom is great for putting a leg between it and soloing like no tomorrow! This is pretty durable too! I've accidentally dropped it a couple times (shame on me), but there has been no major damage at all. The stock pickups are not bad at all, though a lot of people will probably want to switch them out for EMG's or Blackouts or something. The wraparound-styled bridge is pretty nice! I'm used to string-through or TOM style bridges, but this is a nice addition the the guitar. The only down side to it is if you are replacing a string that just broke, it is difficult to get the string in, unless you replace all the strings at once in which case you can completely remove the tailpiece and put your strings through easily. |

This beast is amazing and made my hands go flying. I would have love to buy it if only Epiphone Les Paul Studio didnt make that one mistake. Im a heavy metal fan and love doing dive bombs, pulls up and guitar squeals, but i also need that tuning stability. What caught my eye was the bridge and nut. One, there wasnt a locking nut! and two, the bridge wasnt a tremolo system. If i bought this guitar, i would have modded with an orginal floyd rose tremolo with floyd rose locking nut so that way i oould do all the crazy sound effects that i would need. But, in conclusion, the guitar has a beautiful feel and an amazing sound. |

This is my first Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar. When I saw it in the store, I knew I had to have it due to its look and shape. I use to take guitar lessons over a decade ago but this guitar gave me motivation to start playing again. This guitar is good for beginners and the cool thing is you can have it upgraded if that is your wish. This guitar has such a cool look and I remember as I was buying it, other people were watching on with envy. This guitar is made for metal, rock N roll, and some punk rock music. If you are not into loud music then this guitar is not for you. Other than that this makes a perfect guitar and I love it. It's worth the money and it's not that expensive. This guitar is built to last. |
