If you are new to guitar, I would highly recommend taking it to a guitar shop and having them set your action. This will usually cost bucks but will make this guitar play really nicely, and your progression as a guitarist will be effortless instead of very difficult.

Smooth the the touch. Smooth to the ear.this guitar seems to be perfect for a beginner or amateur/recreational player.

This is a great guitar. I'm not a beginner; just on a very tight budget. I've played many more expensive acoustics than this one, and this beats some of them. If you're a beginner and/or on a tight budget, GET THIS GUITAR. It sounds great, holds it's tuning, and has a beautiful finish. 

this thing plays great!! action is low but does not buzz, very easy to chord.I highly recomend this guitar.
