Living in Upper Michigan Near Lake Superior Makes it hard to Get your hands on a quality guitar to try out.. is tough. It's a 3 hour drive to Green Bay. To be able to play a Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. I was nervous about rolling Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar But after talking to Ken Davis ( he answered all my questions and concerns) Sweetwater was the way to go. It only took 2 days for the Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar to arrive. I was a little intimidated by the beauty of it. Was afraid I might scratch it. Then I started to play it . Awesome is the only word that comes close describing the tone. Love it! |

The Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar even if you pick or strum closer to the bridge..in fact it sounds like my Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar a bit when I play there, but once I start moving over the soundhole that bass and midrange just start to rumble and shout. |

The sustain is simply incredible on this thing. Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar has the best natural reverb I have ever heard in a guitar. I have never played a guitar and found myself saying "wow" so often. With very gentle picking or strumming you get a very full and lively sound. |

I removed the Martin strings and replaced them with Martin Standard D45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar tuned down a half step since I am more of a tenor baritone. |
