I got this Martin vintage series d-45v lefty so I would have a guitar at my parents' house when I visit. As delivered, it was very playable but not outstanding. The action was quite high and the frets were rather gritty. After shaving down both the saddle and the nut, tweaking the truss rod, and polishing the frets, I am very impressed. Neck is straight. Frets are level. Sound is good. Very pleased with the purchase. Amazing how good an instrument can be produced and sold for so little money
