It seems like for all the trouble the other guitar styles take to "get it right," the Casino already got it right! The archtop fully hollow body produces a tight, yet extremely open sound, and the P90 dogears capture that sound perfectly. With its superior dynamic range to solidbodies, you will find yourself using less distortion at your amp and yet geting a bigger, fatter, more responsive tone anyway.

While the guitar looks, plays, and sounds great - that is not the way it came out of the box. In my opinion the guitar was assemble. Fortunate for me that I do my own setups which I did on my newly purchased Epiphone Gary Clark Jr. "Blak & Blu" Casino Hollowbody Electric Guitar with Bigsby Black and Blue and adjusting the Bridge both for height and intonation.

I did a setup and put new strings on it and the playability and tone improved dramatically. For the money, this is just what I expected and it will work nicely as a carry-around jam guitar. I am happy with it.
