This is, in my experience, the best guitar ever made with the Squier name. They keep it affordable with cheaper electronics, bridge, and tremolo, but these parts all play well enough to get you going before you may decide to upgrade them. Even if you don't change a thing, this guitar has tons of character. The pickups howl, wound to sound more like a P-90 (J's favorite) than a traditional Jazzmaster pickup. The neck is great, playing better than $1000 Mexican models, and even some American. I was shopping far more expensive models and I'm so glad i didn't. If you can live with the "Squier" logo on the headstock, then this is your best option. Save your money for a vintage one someday. It was intended to give players something affordable that was also a solid guitar. They nailed it. |

This guitar is unbelievable for its price. I had a bit of problem with the intonation when I first got it, but after I flipped over the bridge and switched the saddles to fit the right strings I was able to setup the intonation perfect. The pickups sound great and stays in tune even when using the tremolo. |

The best squire I've ever played, the only one that was ever worth buying, if your trying to save money but not skip out on style and tone this guitar is for you, it needs set up again when you get it but that's standard when online ordering, I'm actually surprised at how good this little guitar is for being a squire, it will definitely not be the last guitar I ever buy but even when I upgrade I will still pull this one out too, this little guitar is making me love jazz masters,, I never played one before this one and if I could sum this up I would just say I can't really say it's a use for the band guitar but for around the house player your literally getting more for your money which is more than I can say for any guitar purchase I've ever made. |

Amazing guitar for the price. You don't necessarily need to be a fan of Dinosaur Jr or J Mascis to appreciate the guitar. Plays great and sounds decent. Stays in tune almost as well as my other guitars with locking tuners, though I don't use the bar much. Great balance, plays great. A really great value guitar. |
