K&K Trinity Classic Pro acoustic guitar pickup+mike system

The Trinity Classic Pro is a dual source pickup/internal mic system with a dual-channel preamp for classical and nylon-string guitars. The four-head, bridge plate pickup is based on the same technology as K&K's Pure pickup. The Trinity Microphone features an integrated 5" gooseneck (allowing it to be positioned in a number of ways, including outside the soundhole) and 20-20,000 Hz frequency range. The Trinity Preamp is a dual-channel, external, beltclip model with adjustable gain-vol-bass-mid-treble for each channel. The system comes with a stereo endpin jack and a 6-foot stereo cable - no soldering required!

The mic adds some extra air and shimmer to the overall sound, which is very beneficial to the purely acoustic guitarist. The mic can be included in the mix as much as the situation allows for, using the preamp's controls. As a general rule, the lower the stage volume, the more mic can be blended in. This system is great for home recordings too!

The Trinity Preamp allows for individual sound adjustment of mic and pickup. It is built applying K&K's "Silent-Filter-Technology" and their full size component philosophy. They use full size capacitors and other parts because they find they sound better that the miniature components in most competitors' preamps. Outside accessible volume controls and internal adjustable gain/EQ controls with +/- 20 dB bass, midrange and treble filters (trimpots) for each individual channel make this little preamp extremely versatile and powerful.

The Pro version is K&K's latest version. The preamp has been completely redesigned and now provides a phase switch to the microphone channel for improved feedback resistance and a smoother overall tone.

The 1/2" diameter Classic pickups will fit ANY classical or nylon-string acoustic guitar. Direct installation with superglue is required for optimum performance but the system is still removable without damaging the guitar (you may damage the pickup though). Installing the pickups is a breeze with the included mounting jig and detailed instructions.
