Item Description

Utilizing materials and techniques as close to the original as possible, this Authentic 1931 D-28 has all of the features that made the original dreadnought a classic! Martin first introduced their Dreadnought models in 1931 after a custom order from the Oliver Ditson company. The big-bodied sound is augmented by the solid Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, providing a full-ranging tone that's perfect for single-note lines and big strummed chords. A VTS Certified solid Adirondack Spruce top gives this dreadnought huge projection, and the 12-fret construction gives even more warmth and definition.
