Original Authentic Series version (standard gloss finish, no VTS top) - Inspired by a 1933 OM-18, this model features hide glue construction, an ebony truss rod and a shaded Adirondack top. - Mahogany back & sides, Adirondack spruce top & braces, Authentic style scalloped braces, black binding, multiple black/white top trim. Authentic 1933 neck shape, ebony fretboard (25.4" scale, 1-3/4" nut widh, 2-3/8" string spacing at saddle), old style dot position inlays. Madagascar rosewood headplate with gold decal, Waverly nickel butterbean tuning gears, bone nut & saddle. - All New Authentic Series models feature historically accurate specifications such as thinner pegheads, fingerboards, center strips and bridge plates, as well as hand contoured bridges. Shell inlays are closer replicated to the originals in shape, size, dimension and location. Other standout details include hide glue construction and cloth side strips inside each body.
