Sweet 23" scale solid body electric mini bass with Aquila 68U Thundergut strings & Shadow bridge pickup system. Standard bass guitar tuning. Basswood body, volume, bass & treble controls, flat C-profile maple neck, 1-3/4" nut, FRETLESS rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, black hardware, white pickguard and gloss sunburst finish. Includes a gigbag. Small size; BIG sound. Imported from Asia.

Rich, deep bass tones are now practically in the palm of your hand, and convenient enough to take with you without carrying the doghouse or a full scale electric bass. Using Aquila Thundergut strings, you can get authentic bass tones in a 23" scale bass.

Other builders may use a fragile, acoustic soundbox, but the Lightning Bass' basswood body provides resonant thump while being tour ready, so you really can take advantage of the Lightning Bass' portability.
