Your Project?? - This Stunning lefty has a pick up problem. The 4th string does not sound quite as loud as the other strings. Not a huge difference, but there is a very slight difference. It may not bother some, some it will, so I'm selling it as a project bass needing pick ups. Cosmetically speaking the rest of her looks Priistine. As you can see, she is a real beauty!. Bassists are traditionally given little thought or consideration when it comes to the design and variety of choice available for their instruments. While the guitarist has a vast array of different designs and options, chances are that the bassist finds he or she must be satisfied with a few basic configurations of a design that's over a half-century old! When we here at RWG first introduced our ELITEWOOD neck-thru multi-wood guitars we instantly realized that the incredible improvements in playability, sustain and especially TONE that put them so far ahead of the pack, would also make a KILLER bass.

So we gave our designers and manufacturing people the go ahead to bring the same great woods, style and refinements in electronics and hardware to our NEW line of basses! All our basses share the same great features that guitarists everywhere have raved about. The multi tone wood construction is built around our incredible 7-piece MAPLE and WALNUT NECK-THRU section and (depending on the model) wings of beautiful MAHOGANY and fine grained ASH. The cut of the body is designed for effortless playing comfort, sleek and modern good looks and a totally 'organic' feel that makes the bass a real pleasure to play.

We have capped the 35" scale neck-thru section with a genuine EBONY FINGERBOARD, inlaid with our beautiful PEARL VINE inlay. TWO KENT ARMSTRONG pickups) are matched to ACTIVE ELECTRONICS that feature a master volume, pickup PAN control and separate BASS, MID and TREBLE boost and cut EQ controls that allow the bassist to dial in EXACTLY the tone he or she is looking for without resorting to tons of outboard gear. The vast spectrum of tones available is truly amazing!

As incredible as our active electronics are, we've also made sure that our ELITEWOOD basses features a Push Pull ACTIVE/PASSIVE switch that allows them to keep pumping out the bottom end even if a faulty or weak battery should suddenly fail in the middle of your gig and The hardware we've chosen is just as well thought out. Our BB04 bridge offers great tone and the adjustability to exactly intonate and set your action right where you want it. All our basses also now feature GENIUNE GROVER tuners as well, for smooth and precise tuning and stability.

To enhance the deluxe cosmetics of the satin oil finished, open pore woods, we've plated all our metal parts in an elegant BLACK CHROME finish or Gold Satin. Last but not least, our headstocks feature our exclusive ABALONE 'SHARP EYE' and RWG logo. We have ELITEWOOD basses in Four, FIVE, SIX and SEVEN string models, so if you're a bass player who's ready to step out of the 50's and into the spotlight, you've come to the right place!
