The TECHNOFRET Fret Rocker is an indispensable tool both for  guitar technicians and  guitar players.

Manufactured from 2.00 mm thick stainless steel with a  polished mirror finish, four straightedges of differing length in one tool allow the operative to span every set of three adjacent frets all the way from the first three frets on a 34" scale bass to the top three frets on a 24.65" scale guitar.

 By laying the Fret Rocker along three frets and gently rocking it, it can be instantly determined whether any of the frets are higher or lower than they should be, and steps can  then be taken to remedy the situation, either by fractionally raising (and gluing) a low fret, or by tapping down, and if necessary filing, a high fret. 

In use, you would test it alongside each string while the instrument is strung to pitch, as frequently the frets can be OK for five strings and exhibit a slight rock at one string.   

The straight edges are so accurate that discrepancies in fret height of well under a thousandth of an inch can be instantly felt and detected.

Each rocker is precision cut by CNC waterjet , then ground and lapped to an unprecedented level of straightness, and individually tested before being dispatched.
