Here's The Run Down:

As you can see this Super Cool Ventura Barney Kessel is in great condition with NO major flaws to note.   It is a '60s/'70s guitar, but wasn't played much over the last 40 +/- years, so the play wear is fairly low and was obviously well taken care of  (please see all pics for its true cosmetic condition).   The top is in beautiful shape, with a few minor flaws, but still very respectable.  The guitar will have minor dings, scratches and other small flaws, but better than you would expect of a vintage guitar.  The frets are in great shape, showing only minor wear (see pics).  The back and sides of the guitar are also in great condition with only minor flaws (see pics).   The neck & head stock are in great shape (pictured).  The truss rod operates as it should and it plays great up and down the finger board.  The hardware does show some discoloration, but still very nice for a vintage piece (see pics).

Completely original with the exception of....

Changed Bridge Pickup (Original is included with sale, but needs to be rewound)

Changed nut (Original is included, had too much wear)

This Ventura Barney Kessel is just hands down a great guitar!  Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences.  If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking.  The string height is low with plenty of adjustment left on the saddle.  The neck is straight and the truss rod operates as it should. 

The Included Padded Gig Bag is in good usable condition.   It will have some marks, flaws & scuffs here and there from moving it around, but still does its job.   

Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.
