Taylor's recent revoicing of the 500 series has vastly improved the tone and projection of the Grand Concert 512ce, which now benefits from an optimised forward bracing pattern and an upgraded ES2 Electronics System. The 512ce also features a rubbed brown stain finish, slightly darker than your standard spruce finish, for that extra aesthetic appeal.

The Mahogany tonewood of the 512ce offers plenty of mid-range punch and a strong, direct tonal character, making it ideal for the experimental fingerpicker or snappy blues strummer that wants to benefit from the smaller Grand Concert body shape for that extra comfort and top end zing. Taylor are renowned for their extremely playable necks, but the GC body makes the 512 a firm favourite for players who want a more lap-friendly playing experience, yet equally strong and pronounced in a recording environment. Taylor’s Grand Concert models feature a shorter scale length (24-7/8 inches compared to 25-1/2 inches on other models), which makes it easier to form chords, and the reduced string tension also makes it easier to bend the strings.

Throwback appointments on the 512ce include a Grained Ivoroid fretboard binding, peghead and rosette, alongside a sloped venetian cutaway for upper fret access. Comes with a Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Brown hard case as standard to keep your new investment safe and sound!
