Item Description

Here is a pre-owned Lipe Virtuoso guitar with a natural finish to the mahogany body, originally sold by The Music Zoo and still in excellent condition - and it includes the original hardshell case. This custom Lipe Guitars Virtuoso features a roasted curly maple neck, carved into an oval “C” profile. The roasting process removes the sap and moisture from the wood, resulting in a neck that is extremely resonant and resistant to warping from weather conditions. Each neck on Lipe guitars are bolted on with stainless steel thread screws into brass inserts, creating a dead-locked grip that provides totally sympathetic neck-to-body resonance. The Cocobolo fretboard comes with Jescar frets, renowned for their ability to resist wear, at a size comparable to Dunlop 6155’s. The headstock is given a 7% tilt angle for optimum string tension, while Hipshot locking tuners keep everything in place.

For pickups, this Virtuoso comes equipped with an Amalfitano Fullbucker neck humbucker, which uses old school rough sand cast Alnico 2 magnets for that true vintage PAF style tone, along with genuine hardwood maple spacer blocks. An Amalfitano Barrybucker bridge humbucker delivers a hotter PAF sound, utilizing Alnico 5 magnets. The result is a warm sounding guitar that still cuts through.
