Vtg Roadworn Sigma Martin USA DR-28N Acoustic Electric Guitar, D-28 Player

Vintage early 80's Sigma Martin USA  acoustic guitar. This guitar sounds like a USA Martin and plays just as good. Solid spruce top and Rosewood back and sides. This guitar looks like it has been played everyday for the last 35 years and has various dings and scratches. Frets show some wear but still have a lot of life left. No cracks but it does show finish crazing . The guitar has a pickup installed but isn't currently working. I haven't even taken it out to check to see what is going on. Original Martin Sperzel tuners, ebony bridge pins with MOP dot to match fret markers.These guitars were made in a limited quantity in the Martin factory from 1981-1982 and were the predecessor to the Martin Shenandoah D-2832.Check Sigma guitars on Wikipedia for some history. Very collectible and rare. Guitar will be shipped in a hardshell case.
