Comparing it to a Corvette which is am also selling. Just search djcrimmy youtube on Google and it will come right up. Ok i have here a made in Germany Warwick Streamer STD 5 string bass here. This model is not as well known as the Corvette, and can be confused with the Rockbass which it is not. This model is the german made predecessor that the Rock Bass was based off of. It has a fatter longer horn than the Corvette, but a similar compact, but dense, and contoured body. This one from my research is made out of a unique tonewood known as Carolena pine. It has a thin high gloss finish on the body and a tung oil finish on the neck back which is Ovangkol. And the fretboard is Wenge.  These exotic wood choices are the foundation of the unique rich Warwick sound. I love these basses. This one is a dual humbucker configuration. Also known as Double $$. In the video demo (which i suggest you check out) i found that head to head these humbuckers are not as bright and had actually less output than the single coil J pickups. What they have going for them is more smoothness and a lower deeper bass frequency. I would desribe them as tremendously warm and open sounding. The action and setup is very good. I find that the string tension is very easy to fret and elastic, without being "floppy". It's an easy bass to play as long as you are comfortable with the additional width from having 5 strings. That does it for this one. I really dig this bass and think it is an outstanding price point for a german crafted instrument. Check out the vid if you want to see it in action.
